31st March:
Sales tax department collects historic 360 Crores revenue in Khandesh:

Failing all recessionary aspects and downturn views, Maharashtra Sales tax department has collected 360 Crores revenue in financial year 2008-09 in Khandesh region comprising of Jalgaon, Dhule and Nandurbar districts. Department collected 317 Crores revenue in last year.
It has 17,214 dealers registered under VAT tax along with 7,000 trusts/ organisations and 46,930 individuals registered in professional tax. Stats reports 19 dealers paying above 1 Crore tax, 180 dealers paying about 10 Lakhs, 276 dealers paying in 1-10 Lakhs range and this deposit is at 40, 23 and 17 percent to that of revenue collections.

Parliamentary election nomination filling picks up:
Parliamentary elections nomination filling process has picked up full pace with candidates starting submission. Until now, administration has sold 71 forms in Jalgaon, 99 in Raver, 76 in Dhule and 28 in Nandurbar. Both BJP and NCP candidates from Khandesh's all constituency would file nomination today.
This includes A. T. Patil (BJP - Jalgaon), Haribhau Jawale (BJP - Raver), Pratap Sonawane (BJP - Dhule) and Manikrao Gavit (Congress - Nandurbar) would file nominations today. NCP has announced Adv. Ravindra Patil from Jalgaon as candidate for Raver constituency.

Railways development tax on banana wagons causes woes in banana producers:
District banana producers turned in pain with railways new announcement of taxing in form of development tax on wagons. Central railway Bhusawal divisional authorities have termed producers to pay this tax in Delhi rather here. Railways new development tax levies Rs. 362 on one wagon having freight of Rs. 18,435 and is in effect from 25th March. Railways have posted 62 Lakhs due with farmers by now. Divisional authorities have shown inability to collect following no orders from head office for the same.

NMU presents its annual budget worth 89.81 Crores:
North Maharashtra University Jalgaon administration presented its annual budget 2009-10 yesterday. This budget has 80 Crores 17 Lakhs 99,000 on credit side and deficit of 9 Crores 63 Lakhs 19,000. Key announcements and provisions in this budget are:
1) Introduction of M.E. course in Electronics and Tele-communications - 1.80 Crores
2) Indoor stadium construction and set up - 2.49 Crores
3) Computer science, languages, maths and statistics buildings - 1.65 Crores
4) Dias for Convocation ceremony, Independent building for Organic chemistry - 50 Lakhs
5) Student facilitation centre with 24 hours internet connectivity - 20 Lakhs

29th & 30th March:
Mercury intense further - touches 42 degrees in Bhusawal:

Region's harsh summer heat continues to intense further and touched 42 degree centigrade yesterday in Bhusawal. Earlier it touched 42.5 degrees in March beginning and remained stable at 41 degrees in last week.

District administration achieves 110% revenue collection:
Jalgaon district administration has achieved 110% revenue collection to that of its assigned target of 49 Crores for land revenue, minerals royalty, entertainment tax, franking and others for financial year 2008-09. This includes Jamner, Erandol and Bodwad taluka have achieved more than 100% collection. Administration has collected 49.59 Crores by 25th March and estimate total collection at 51 Crores by 31st March.

Administration imposes 144(2) and 144(3) sections in Jalgaon:
Jalgaon district Collectorate has put in IPC section 144(2) and 144(3) in Jalgaon district with effect from 24th March 2009 aiming Law and Order and controlled situation especially in district co-operative department deputy-registrar offices. IT bans entry of more than five persons at a time in this office at district level and respective Tahsil level.
District's co-operative sector depositors' continued protest marches followed by unconvincing state of responses leads to rage in depositors. This leads to disruption in government works and uncontrollable state of chaos.

Jalgaon enter super league by defeating Latur:
Jalgaon boys continue exceptional performance by winning all five league matches in ongoing MCA conducted under-19 cricket competition. Jalgaon defeated Latur based on first inning lead. Jalgaon scored 313 runs in first inning with 89 by Devvrata, 59 from by Shashank and 40 runs from Girish. Jalgaon bowlers bowled out Latur on mere 114 runs with Dhaval taking 5 wickets and Rohit taking 2 wickets. Jalgaon scored 198/4 runs in 37 over and declared batting. In response, Latur ended its batting for 81/6 at day end. Jalgaon won this match and qualified for super league.

28th March:
Banana rates jumps up to 620:

Nashik region witnessing sudden raining and snowing in some area in last fortnight has led to severe shortage to grapes inflow in market. As a result, Jalgaon district's banana demand has jumped up and touched Rs. 500 per quintal with Rs. 20 rate difference totalling to Rs. 620 per quintal. Northern India and Rajasthan area demands have risen further. Region's banana producers are dispatching 84 wagons goods train every week along with road transporting.

District administration completes airport land acquisition:
Jalgaon district administration has completed its acquired land transfer process to Airport development authority. It has awarded all farmers through single payment whose lands have been acquired. It has transferred 191.80 hectares land of 262.60 hectares and rest is in final state.

Sindhi community Chetri-Chand festivity today:
City Pujya Sindhi Panchayat is conducting various events on eve of Chetri-Chand (Sindhi Day) today and on Sunday. This includes worshipping at Jhulelal hall, Maha-Prasadam, Bahrana Saheb and various cultural activities on Sunday. It has organised mega laughter show 'Swar Sindhu' having participation of various laughter show fame Personalities.

Dharangaon and Erandol get Anjani dam water:
Administration has issued special release of Anjani dam canal water to Dharangaon and Erandol city for drinking water supplies. This would ease drinking water woes of both cities and nearby villages. It would also boost agricultural cultivation in upcoming season.

Jalgaon defeats Pune in Under-19 cricket competition:
Jalgaon boys have defeated P.Y.C. Pune team in ongoing under-19 MCA conducted cricket competition by 9 wickets. PYC bated first and scored 178 runs. Jalgaon bowlers Chandan Wani took 4 wickets, Shashank Attarde took two while Rohit Talreja, Chandan Ranve and Dhaval Hemnani took one each wicket. In response, Jalgaon scored 223 runs with valuable 67 from Dilip Vishwakarma and 59 by Devvrata Raval along with Shashank Attarde scoring 34 and Girish Patel scoring 24 runs.
Jalgaon bowlers bowled out PCY team on mere 96 runs to its lead of 45 runs. Chandan wani took 6 wickets along iwth Shashank, Rohit, Chandan Ranave and Dhaval taking one each. Jalgaon batsman scored this target on loss of one wicket. It has scored 20 points in this competition by winning all 4 league matches and would play its last league match versus Latur at Nashik on today and 29th March.

Corporation Octroi tender award confirmed at 61.65 Crores:
Jalgaon city municipal Corporation standing committee has approved existing party tender extension for collection of Octroi and escorts fees. This tender has been fixed at 61.65 Crores value with 10% natural growth consideration. It has waiver for fertilisers and medicines amounting to 4.55 Crores.

Election notification on Saturday, 28th March:
State EC would issue notification for upcoming parliamentary election for Khandesh's all four constituencies on Saturday, 28th March. This includes Jalgaon, Raver, Dhule and Nandurbar. Nomination filling process begins from Saturday. Last date of filling nominations is 04th April followed by scrutiny on 06th and 08th April as last date of withdrawal. Voting is scheduled on 23rd April followed by counting on 16th May and final publication in Government resolution on 28th May.

ZP bye-election results - BJP Shivsena alliance wins:
BJP-Shivsena alliance has won district Council's 3 blocks undergoing bye-election. This included Bambhori - Paldhi, Vikhran - Ringangaon and Kurha - Vadoda. This has taken BJP count to 28 and reduced NCP count by one to 15.

26th March:
JDCC bank receives 88 Crores under farmer debt waiver:

Jalgaon district central co-operative has received Rs. 88 Crores fund under Central government Farmer debt waiver scheme. Bank had availed 122 Crores debt waiver in this scheme and district's 68,370 farmers got benefited from this scheme. Bank expect rest of funds remittance before March-end.
District's 24,360 farmers were eligible for Farmer debt repayment scheme. This scheme had maximum of Rs. 20,000 concession in full loan repayment. Bank would get 53.88 Crores under this scheme. State Farmer debt waiver had its 57,599 farmers eligible amounting to 110 Crores.

District civil hospital introduces Tele-medicine services:
Jalgaon district civil hospital has introduced Tele-medicine services with aim to avail direct consulting services from J. J. Hospital and K. E. M. Hospital doctors on various critical cases. Service has been introduced under national rural health mission. Service offers free consulting to patients and avails honorarium of Rs. 100 to doctors offering consulting under this requirement.

Congress-I and NCP announces seat sharing arrangement:
Congress-I and NCP have announced seat sharing arrangements for upcoming parliamentary elections. Jalgaon and Raver seats have been assigned to NCP. Shivsena and BJP alliance has announced both seats to BJP. NCP has announced Adv. Vasantrao More as its candidate for Jalgaon and is yet to announce Raver candidature.

ZP Panchayat election voting:
Jalgaon district council's 18 villages Panchayat underwent voting yesterday. Votes' counting has begun at respective Tahsil offices today morning. Vikharan-Ringangaon in Erandol had 52.30% voting, Pimpalkotha had 77% voting. Entire process went smooth with no incidences reported.

ZP bock election voting today:
Jalgaon district's 18 village Panchayat are undergoing voting today. This includes 7 having bye-election and rest having term election. This includes a few from Erandol, Amalner, Jamner, Jalgaon and MuktaiNagar.

District administration inaugurates Constituency review information:

Jalgaon district administration has prepared detailed review of Jalgaon and Raver parliamentary constituency review report named 'Purvapithike'. Booklet covers detailed election schedule, guidelines, all earlier elections from 1977 until 2007 detailed results, assembly constituency-wise voting and statistical information related to Jalgaon (03) and Raver (04) parliamentary constituency. It has also set up special media centre detailed media analysis and reviews in this election.

Administration declares 3 local holidays for this year:
Jalgaon district administration has declared Akshay Trutiya - 27th April, Anant Chaturdashi - 03rd September and Dhantrayodashi - 15th November as 3 local holidays. Local holidays apply to all State governmental offices excluding judiciary and are as per State government guidelines.

NMU plans to introduce grading system in exam results:
Khandesh's educational hub North Maharashtra University has planned to introduce grading system in its affiliated college exam results. Grading has O for Outstanding, E for Excellent, A for Very Good, B for Good, C for satisfaction, D for Average and F for failed grades. Every paper would have credits based on lectures per week and practical. It has also whole exam timetable online on its website.

District Under-19 football team announced:
District football association has selected 26 players in district's under-19 football team for training. This team would now undergo training at district sports complex from 01st April and would have final selection of 16 candidates.

21st March:
Jalgaon City Municipal Corporation enters seventh year:

Jalgaon city Municipal Corporation has completed six years of establishment today. Formed on 21st March 2003, JCMC is still to achieve confidence of Jalgaonities in terms of real development overriding all its political woes and financial crisis. Frequently changing Commissioners and no aligned approach in bureaucrats and Corporators has paralysed city's overall growth in spite of wonderful geographical resources.
Waghur dam has only been its major achievement for now easing Jalgaon city's drinking water woes. Introduction of waste and garbage collecting 'Ghanta-Gadi' has been another significant approach. This is slowly showing cleanliness on roads and colonies and overall hygienic conditions.

Khandesh election agenda - Four-lane express highway still on paper:
Nagpur to Surat highway based Dhule to MuktaiNagar route covering 160kms four-lane conversion is still in approval state since last 2 years. This covers most of Jalgaon part and needs systematic approach of region's political presentation to kick-start. Mumbai - Agra highway based Mumbai to Dhule and Dhule to Indore based four-lane conversion ongoing work also needs further push. Dhule to MuktaiNagar highway of 160kms has and traffic density on this route has increased to 115,961 tons per day.

Corporation to open Octroi tender today:
JCMC is opening up Octroi and escorting fees collection tender today. This decision of opening tenders is based on recent High Court order on no violation of Election Code of Conduct for such tender openings for Panvel Corporations. Corporation has set up 3 member special committee for this tender and has received 3 tenders for its reserved price of 63.14 Crores for upcoming financial year Octroi and escort fees collection.

20th March:
Administration avails sms based helpline for electoral booth search:

Jalgaon district administration has set up call centre services to facilitate voters to search polling booth based on EPIC number as shown on identity card. Voters can either call 0257-2233000, 9422278444, 9422282444 or send sms to 9422604003 with their EPIC number to get their booth information. This service remains available from 9AM until 7PM with 12-member team setup.

Cycle, Marathon competition in Jalgaon on 25th March:
District sports council and sports authority along with Khubchand Sagarmal School are conducting district-level cycling and marathon competition in Jalgaon on 25th March. Competition begins at Shirsoli Naka and would have participation of taluka-level winners. Taluka competition would be conducted at respective centre on 23rd March. Event has Open category (male) - 21kms, Above 20 years age - 10 kms, 5-15 years age group - 5kms and open category (women) - 5kms in marathon. Cycling competition has 30kms and 20kms respectively for open men and women competition.

19th March:
Centre continues ban on pulses export:

Central cabinet has approved extension of ongoing ban on free exports of pulses from India following shooting up pulses prices in country. This ban is likely to hit Jalgaon with 100 Crores by means of no exports of Pulses produced here. New ban continues until 31st March 2010. Centre would continue to avail pulses through controlled selling to facilitate weaker section of society.

Airport authority officials review Jalgaon airport developments:
A team of 5 representatives from Airport authority arrived in Jalgaon yesterday and reviewed proposed Jalgaon airport site. It reviewed current state of land and viability of repairing existing structure instead of new constructions, listing possible amenities and arriving at estimate for proposed works. Earlier State approved handover of airport development work to Airport authority of India for speedy processing. It has also completed awarding for land acquisition.

Cottonomics 2008-09 - CCI buys 28 Lakh quintals of cotton:
CCI has procured 28 Lakh 44,000 quintals of cotton crop amounting to 583 Crores in this season from Jalgaon division farmers. NAFED enacted as nodal agency with CCI support for this procurement. Amalner is on top of sellers with 813,821 quintals of cotton, Pachora with 638,328 quintals of cotton, Dhule with 557,789 quintals, Jamner with 452,127 quintals and Jalgaon with 346,249 quintals of procurement.

Erandol likely to witness lower wheat and gram produces:
Erandol taluka crop yields primary reports reveals lowered produces in this season's wheat and gram crop. Taluka had record cultivation of both crops in this season. Lower cold and frequent climatic changes are major affecting factors for lesser yields in this season.

18th March:
Election campaigning agenda - Industrial development needs political boost:

Jalgaon is India's one of most geographically blessed location. In spite of its active geography, its political periphery has failed to cash this in overall industrial growth. Orient Cement is the only big industrial setup arrived in region in last decade. None of political fraternity member has paid enough attention to systemised growth of industrial sector along with region's rich trade in gold, pulses, tea, plastic mats, pipes and many such allied products. Supreme industries moved out of Jalgaon following Octroi woes and 83 other Units are closed following no further productivity.
Cluster development scheme for SSI, industrial townships, local government facilitations are a few of burning sensitive issues for overall booster to region.

17th March:
District dam water storage review:

Jalgaon district two out of twelve water supplying dam have turned zero, rest 8 have reasonable water levels as of now. Administration has now started collecting Taluka wise likely water shortage reports and would soon initiate steps. Jalgaon district had mere 70% monsoon rainfall this year. District's 332 villages are likely to face water shortage this summer. Jamner taluka is on top of list.
Girana dam - 30.49%, Hatnur - 42.20%, Waghur - 16.69%, Manyad - 27.40%, Bori - 15.70%, Bhokarbari - 7.04%, Suki - 42.45%, Abhora - 50.07%, Agnavati - 8.70%, Hivra - 14.62%, Mangrul - 90.13% and Mor - 60.95%. Tondapur and Bahula dam are dry. Administration has reserved all dam water for drinking purposes.

Jalgaon and Raver parliamentary constituency - 31 sensitive booths:
Administration has marked 6 and 25 sensitive polling booths in Jalgaon and Raver constituency respectively. It is also planning to mark critical booths and troublesome to ease whole process. This election has special rights to sector officers, photo based electoral roll, helpline, alphabetic electoral roll, prior practical demonstration and every involved staff to get identity cards. It has also set up taluka-based code of conduct office for monitoring whole process.

16th March:
Corporation anti-encroachment drive catches political heat amidst election background:

Jalgaon city Municipal Corporation began its anti-encroachment drive in last week. This drive began with full-fledged push to curb down largely introduced encroachment on city's major traffic roads. City's major encroachment areas like Shani Peth Police station to Akashwani Chowk, Bombay Lodge to MIDC fire station, Chitra Chowk to Ganesh Colony, Nehru Chowk to Ganesh Colony, Nehru Chowk to Station Road, Bendale Chowk to Shirsoli Naka, M. J. College area, Bhilpura Police station to Tower, Kombdi Bazaar, Shivaji Road and V. V. Markets.
Hawker's zone need and focussed development planning from Corporation and city traffic department aligned approach are on higher demand. Hawkers are conducting mega protest march to Corporation administrative building today.

Parliamentary elections 2009 - Irrigation developments on top agenda:
Khandesh region's many of Tapi basin development irrigation projects are still on slow track following lack of co-ordination and support to acquire forestry land. Tapi region's proposed mega recharge proposed needs further political push to get started. Acquiring forestry land and getting villagers support for this mega project are tougher task for administration. Such projects would boost up agricultural growth of region and escape from drowning water levels in region's banana zone. It would not only avail water for banana crops but also enhance soil water levels.

15th March:
NAFED cotton buying ends today:

NAFED run cotton buying process started as nodal agency of Central government with CCI is ending today at all centres for this season. It has procured 164 Lakh quintals of cotton in this season and is closing for this season buying at all 180 centres in State.

District Police seizes weapons and puts actions on 347:
Jalgaon district Police has issued orders to all licensed weapon holders to deposit their arms with it on grounds of upcoming parliamentary elections. It has also initiated actions on 262 doubtful background persons under section 107 and 16 under section 109 and 67 under section 110 on various earlier criminal grounds.
Administration has appointed 11 assembly Constituency wise deputy election officers. Other measures include ban on printing of campaigning books, posters, pamphlets under section 127A of public representation Act 1951.

14th March:
Raining in Khandesh - snowing in Nashirabad to Sakegaon area:

Whole Khandesh region witnessed wind flow and rain showering yesterday evening. Sudden raining and wind flow led to damages to standing crop in region. Jalgaon city had cloudy atmosphere while Bhusawal and Raver had showers and Nashirabad to Sakegaon zone had snowing. Raining showers continued for few hours in night. Raver area has reported damages to standing wheat crop.

Corporation administration initiates anti-encroachment drive:
Jalgaon city Municipal Corporation has initiated stringent measures to curb down encroachments in city. This includes many of major traffic roads based vegetable sellers and hawkers being moved and their encroachments being destructed. Administration has planned to continue this drive as a routine process to maintain traffic position in city.

13th March:
Parliamentary elections 2009 - Railways halt and facilities demands:

Khandesh region has prolonged demands on railways front and expects execution of the same from upcoming representatives through good presentation of issues to central ministries. Jalgaon region has 56 trains having daily, 5-days a week, four days a week and two days a week trains. Of these trains, just 27 trains halt at Jalgaon and rest super fasts do not have any halt at Jalgaon. This causes inconvenience to Jalgaonities and leads to move to Bhusawal to catch respective trains.
Apart from this banana wagons facilitation is another major demand. Farmers expect fibre coated wagons and categorisation of banana transporting from parcel service to goods service to ease tariff burden. Manmad - Dhule - Indore railway line also holds equal growth expectations for Dhule region. Railways board is yet to approve this new line work estimated at 1,501 Crores.

Anturli-Ranjane villagers boycott Panchayat election for third time:
Anturli-Ranjane villagers having demand of dividing of village Panchayat continued their boycott to Panchayat term election for third consecutive time. Both villagers have not filed even a single nomination for Panchayat election until last day of nomination filling.
Scheduled tribes candidates also registered their protest on reservation of 18 Panchayat reserved and not getting caste validity certificate by not filling nominations. Jalgaon's third ZP blocks, 14 Village Panchayat term and 35 Panchayat by-election is being conducted on 25th March.

NMU announces semester system education for arts, commerce and science faculty students:
North Maharashtra University VC has suggested changing of education pattern in graduation courses from year based to semester system from upcoming year. NMU education board and respective departments would now conduct evaluation meetings to arrive at decision for the same. NMU yesterday conducted meeting of respective education committee heads and has plans to introduced UGC aligned single time table for all Universities, uniform evaluation pattern and cafeteria systems.
NMU expects more focussed study in students and regular presence in college along with good grounds for internal evaluation in semester system.

Elections likely to cause earlier annual exams:
Parliamentary elections announcement has triggered education system for earlier conduct of exams and results announcement. All schools and colleges would finish exams in period from mid-March until 18th April period. Results announcement would be on 08th May and summer vacations are from 11th May until 13th June 2009.

Jalgaon defeats Pune in MCA cricket competition:
Jalgaon boys continue their exceptional play by defeating D. Y. Patil College Pune team by an inning in ongoing open category cricket competition at Nashik. Jalgaon scored 243 runs in first inning. In reply, Pune could scored only 160 runs following Mehul Ingle superb bowling taking 8 wickets and Mushtaque and Sandeep each taking one wicket. District administration achieves 90% revenue target:
Jalgaon district administration has completed 90% of its assigned revenue collection target for financial year 2008-09. This includes Jamner, Erandol and Bodwad having achieved more than 100% of targets while Raver having achieved 70% of its targets. This included revenue in form of taxes and royalty in land, minerals royalty, entertainment tax, and franking, stamping and related miscellaneous taxes. Jalgaon had targets of 49 Crores for this year and has collected 44 Crores 52 Lakhs 40,000 (90.86%) as of 07th March 2009.

Jalgaon airport land acquisition approved:

State has approved Rs. 30.55 Crores special fund for awarding farmers for land acquisition for Jalgaon airport work. Designated land acquisition officer would now award this sum to farmers to complete the acquisition process and move ahead. Acquisition has 84 Nashirabad farmers and 47 Kusumba farmers.

Jalgaon team has defeated Usmanabad by one winning in ongoing MCA conducted State competition at Kolhapur. Jalgaon player Tanvir scored 85 runs while Mehul Ingle took 8 wickets in both innings. Administration gears preparations for parliamentary elections:

Election commission has revised norms for sensitive polling booths. Earlier polling booths having name in Police stations were considered as sensitive. As per new norms, booths having major voting and focussed voting to single candidate would now be treated as sensitive booths. Administration yesterday conducted a review meet of district Police and administrative authorities and discussed EC norms. Police would now conduct massive campaigns to find voters with double identity and not residing in region.

District administration enforces 37(1) and 37(3) in Jalgaon:
Jalgaon district administration has enforced Bombay Police Act, 1951 section 37(1) and 37(3) in district until 15th March. This is on eve of Holi, Dhulivandan, Shiv Jayanti and Eid to maintain Law and Order situation.

Jalgaon District Council education department first time initiative of relieving School students from extensive heat is coming in effect from Monday. Administration to close dam for agricultural supplies:

Divisional Commissioner has approved district administration submitted action plan to tackle water shortages in upcoming summer. CCI yesterday reviewed Jalgaon division's various centres cotton available storage and has decided to discontinue cotton buying. Earlier State announced extension of NAFED cotton buying until 15th March. Corporation sets 63.14 Crores target for Octroi tax:

Jalgaon City Municipal Corporation has set 10% natural growth based target of 63.14 Crores for Octroi and escorts fees for financial year 2009-10. Standing committee approved this along with 11 other topics on agenda yesterday and administration has floated tender for the same. Corporation has received 61 Crores 95 Lakhs 76,542 Rupees tax in current financial year.
It has decided to waive of Octroi on medicines estimated at 4 Crores 55 Lakhs 44,150 and has estimated impact on this collection of industrial township is formally announced and comes in effect. This proposal of waiver has gone to State for final approval and tender is in process.

Parliamentary elections on 23rd April in Khandesh:
Election Commission of India has announced election schedule of parliamentary elections for whole Country. This includes whole Khandesh region having 6 seats undergoing voting on 23rd April followed by votes counting on 16th May 2009. Election code of conduct would come in effect from 28th March followed by last date of filling nominations as 04th April, scrutiny on 06th April and last date of withdrawal as 08th April.

Khandesh to get 1.75 Crores for minority development:
State government has availed special grant of 1.75 Crores for Khandesh region minority Community development. This includes 13 council areas and Jalgaon and Dhule municipal Corporations. Corporation to conduct satisfaction survey 2009:

Jalgaon city Municipal Corporation is conducting first ever Jalgaon citizens satisfaction survey. It has assigned this survey work to M. J. College. Survey would sample 100 citizens minimum in each of 69 wards and evaluate water supplies, wastewater management, public toilet arrangements, health services and corporation hospitals amenities. Corporation would classify this survey to evaluate future amenities to be provided.
